Are animals allowed on an air charter flight? |

Most air charter operators allow pets on their aircraft. However, dogs need to be well behaved and cats are usually required to be in a pet carrier. When flying to a foreign country, passengers are normally required to provide official documents concerning pet shots and proof of good health.

Can you smoke on a charter aircraft? |
|
This depends on the air charter operator. Alot of the air charter aircraft are now non-smoking due to fact that all airline flights are now non-smoking flights. Charter operators complain that the tobacco smell from smoking gets into the fabric of their airplanes and bothers the next passenger(s).

Do charter aircraft come with flight attendants? |

Typically, unless requested, flight atttendants are not used for flights with under 10 passengers. The aircraft where flight attendants are used are Mid size aircraft and larger.

Do you have requirements for your pilots? |
|
The air charter operator, the insurance companies and the FAA require recurrency training and gives recurrent checkrides every six months to make sure the pilots meet standards designated by the FAA. The FAA certifies and licenses pilots.

How many yrs. do you expect them to have been piloting? |
|
Pilots progress in aviation at different rates. It is the total number of hours of experience that matters along with the total time in the type of aircraft they are currently flying.

Is Air Charter safe? |

Yes. Reputable air charter companies have an excellent safety record. We are under the jurisdiction of the Federal Aviation Administration.

Is there a limit as to what types of food and beverage you have on board the aircraft? |

Normally, you can have whatever you want, within reason.

What is the weight limit per person on a chartered plane? |
|
There's not really any weight limit but flight planning is based on an average 170 pounds per passenger and 1 to 2 pieces of luggage (If applicable) per passenger.

Why is air charter expensive? |
|
Manufacturing, flying and maintaing safe aircraft has always been a pricey affair. It is, afterall, the fastest most exotic form of transportation on the planet.
However, if you fill all the seats on your charter (or even most of them), you'll find that the price per seat is not that much higher than the scheduled airline's 1st class ticket prices. And you have the convenience, extra service, privacy and enjoyment of flying in your own aircraft on your own schedule.
